Only a few Americans funded the IRA. And the people who died on September 11th were not just Americans, they represented dozens of different countries, including Britain.

In no way, shape, or form did America deserve what happened on September 11th. The government officials and crooked politicians? Maybe. I'm an American, and I can speak for many of us by saying, we really have no part and don't agree with most of what our government does. So, should innocent citizens that have no real part in the decisions that their country makes be killed because the White House is filled with douchebags?? I don't think so. Even though we are supposed to have a "democratic" government, citizens don't make those decisions. I think it is immature and sick that you would think innocent people deserve to die because you're pissed about something.

some americans funded the ira - there are some screwed up people over there too
however you'd have to be very warped to think that the US deserved to be attacked in that particularly cowardly way
i am british and could never understand the need for some people in US to fund a bunch of murderers thousands of miles from their hometowns - but they were in the minority and had been brainwashed
the murderers who attacked US had also been brainwashed but were not totally stupid - they hate everything and everyone that does not agree with them yet are happy to live off the resources and backs of the people they despise (including tax payers like me)

Give me a break, no innocent person deserves that. How would you like to be minding your own business on your way to work and have your whole world destroyed ?
I guess there will always be disagreements and war, but it shouldn't involve those who don't have anything to do with the matters at hand. I don't agree with alot of our political policies, and we as a nation try to correct them by electing the right people, but it's too slow of a process to see immediate change. The best offense is a good defense.......

No.

Civilians died on that fateful day, that means the likes of you and yours.

The American Government did not finance the IRA, it was private individuals in the USA, also the KGB, also the PLO etc.,

Nor did they invade Ireland with the intent of oppressing it's people for hundreds of years or stealing their land etc., - unlike some I could mention.

Leave the Irish alone and they won't bother you, bite them and they will bite back with bigger teeth.

Proud to be Irish with an American Grandmother.

No one could have possibly deserved that, regardless of the actions of their government. I don't agree with what our government have done in Iraq but I certainly wouldn't think the UK deserved mass terrorism because of it!

You knew this question would provoke a bad reaction - see how long it is before it's taken off...

It wasn't the IRA that attacked the USA on 9/11, but a bunch of towell heads that felt that because this country strongly supports the State of Israel, that we should be punished by seeing what terrorism is all about.

America will continue to support our brothers in Israel as well as our brothers in other countries as well, including the United Kingdom. (so, your safe, moron?)

Have a good life, shepherd

As a British person also, i could not DISAGREE more!. How on earth can you justify saying that all these thousands of INNOCENT people deserved to die in this way?. I have never heard anything so pathetic in all my life.

Anything that we Brits did then to deserve the London Underground bombings?
