It is a solid brass set of balance scales, Very old!! here are a few pictures.

The only detail on the bottom is an "M". Thus making it harder to find anything about it.

wow i had one of these .. but my fell apart and i threw it away .. i keep the eagle part ... of course i dint know anything about it..kind of wish i keep myn .. dint know it was old..

Is there something on the bottom that gives you some info you can research. How about the person you purchased them from? They may have a story that could give you more info.............x
