I love Supernatural too!!! (hint my name lol)...I think the deal was unfair to Sam but I know Dean will get out of it! It was ironic he made it though because his Dad did the same thing to him and he said "How am I suppose to live with that?"...now Sam has to live with it! But that's just Dean's character: saving people before himself...that's why I love him! (and of course I love Sam too! lol)
Of course there's the comedy! I love the comedy! I actually was just telling my roommate how I do miss the scary episodes. I hate being scared but I do miss those episodes once in a while. There is a lot of comedy now but I really do love it!

I love 'Supernatural' too. The deal was typical of Dean, who seems to have more of a fatherly relationship with Sam at times and sees it as his abosolute duty to protect his brother from everything, even if it means his own death. I'm not surprised that he's reluctant to find a way to rescind it and it will be up to Sam, no doubt, to pay his brother back and save him.
I think there is more comedy this season because last season was quite depressing with the boys dealing with John's death as well as finding out their father was partially to blame for Jo's father's death, etc. The producers probably felt they needed to have a few more light-hearted episodes this season.

I am definitely anxious to see what is going to have to happen for Dean to get out of his deal. There is definitely more comedy already I guess since the boys are healing from the dark time of John's death and Dean is just trying to enjoy his "last year"

The season two ending was brilliant. Dean's deal makes for a stroy arc for season 3 - how will being at death's door change him? how with the brothers get out of the deal?
It was also great because the unleashed hundreds if not thousands of new and interesting demons to fight.
It's going to be a wild ride!

I love that show! It's typical of Dean's character to make a deal like he did. I agree with you about the comedy. It's a great show.

you not the only one who is obsessed with supernatural! its a great show and very interesting. every ep i am hanging off my seat for more lol. anyway i love dean (Jensen is my fab) but i got to disagree with him on one thing, he should not of made that deal. because now if dean can't get out of the deal he will drop dead and Sam will be in the same situation as dean did when sam died. lets hope that dean can find a way out of this mess and continute hunting with his brother on the road. hope they make another season too! if they don't i will be heart broken ):
anyway thats all i gotta say

My hubby & I were cracking up last night! Sam looked so sad when he lost his shoe & the batman line was great!! Definetely more comedy this season, but I'm not sure if they'll outdo that episode where Dean and Sam were mimicking each other... classic!
We watch (and DVR) 4 shows, but this one has topped both our lists.

Supernatural's a very interesting show. As far as Dean's deal goes, I think that it's the network's way of bailing out the show. I remember with Tru Calling, when they decided to cancel it, they allowed Tru's opposite to reveal himself and then surprisingly step out of character for the oh-so sappy Hollywood happy ending.
Perhaps the ratings on Supernatural aren't up to par -- as their stupid "reality" shows -- so they're testing it with a storyline which calls for an end to the title character; and if by the end they've improved, the writers will create a loophole that will save our guys.
