I had no idea that you had to be 18 (i'm 17) to sell in eBay maybe because I never read the agreements and all those things, I already have 6 POSITIVE feedbacks, I always pay via money order. What do you recommend, I'm thinking about selling a vehicle soon.

Sounds like you are responsible.

No worries.

Get an older friend or relation to help. I have an eBay account, and I sell for others occassionally. Also, for selling a vehicle, use Craigslist for your area - I guarantee if you car is worth anything, you can sell it on there. We have sold 4 cars and bought two via CraigsList - which is also free, and doesn't require proof of age.

I didn't read that stuff either. Oh well you only have a year or less before you can sell stuff. If the car is in your name you can sell it, but no contract you make is binding because you are a minor. Get an adult you trust to sell it for you.

You could get somebody else to post the vehicle for you or open up a new account and lie about your age. I would recommend letting someone you TRUST (like a parent) help you out with the posting even if you are the one creating and profiting from the auction. I used to get my dad to eBay stuff for me.

I've used eBay before I was 18. When I registered, it says you need to be 18 to register on eBay, but I don't think they ask for proof, so why not? To sell, eBay will need a credit card, I think, to charge you eBay fees.
