I smoke, but that's my problem. And yes, cigs should be taxed to help pay for healthcare....since tobacco is responsible for many severe and costly health problems.

Good point! I smoke, and under the bill I would be eligible to receive free health care (I'm 24 and make plenty, but am still considered "poor" by the bill). I never thought of it that way....making people think they are getting something for free, but taxing something that they do to fund it. I'm glad the bill failed.
