Good grief do those morons have ANY IDEA what the internet is and what it can do?

They can't tell their lies like this is 1995 anymore. LOL

Isn't it interesting that the left simply CANNOT stand on their ideology alone? They have to come up with these scam political tactics and then mischaracterize and lie about them to their ignorant minions who then perpetuate the lies?

So dishonest.

Thank goodness for the internet.

Alessa, I don't think you really know the truth of this story.

You totally hate children!!! Just kidding....the only people left defending the bill are people who will believe anything (or people who believe that socialism is OK).

Alessa, your hatred for Bush has made you blind. And the Democrats are using that to get you to believe anything they say...so sad.

They had tried this bill back when Clinton was President but could not find enough children to get an actual program up and going. And frankly, I do not want my taxes raised to support other people's kids. It is not my fault they have, or keeping having, kids they cannot afford. Look how many kids these poor people have. If they stopped breeding and got their crap together maybe they can support their family and children with as little government help as they can. But why do that when the government will cater to them and raise their kids for them while they continue to keep having more kids.

I have never seen a hospital turn down a child to give them medical attention. I have mainly seen neglectful not caring parents turn down their child for medical help.

I certainly am.

Like many of their programs, it would hurt rather than help even the supposed "beneficiaries" in the long run.

We need market-based reform, not more government meddling.

PS Your additional comment is spot-on. And I always get a chill down my spine when Democrats say something is "for the children" - I still don't know how their support for partial-birth abortion is helping them.

It's perverse, and sad.

PPS How about this measure "for the children?"

Scam? SCHIP insures many children who otherwise would not be covered. Bush's entire presidency has been nothing but one scam and lie after another. He is willing to spend billions to keep sending our troops to be killed in Iraq, but not send them they equipment they need to be safe. He cares only about his own agenda and doesn't give a s**t about American children or our troops.

I am. We need to re-authorize the program ASAP and Congress can even consider the increase that Bush proposed for the program back in February........
