Casagarb: Schilling is 9-8 with a near .4 ERA and only 100 Ks and blew chunks in game 2. Is that your idea of a great pitcher?

Some of the guys in our bullpen aren't that great, but Schilling and Wakefield did pretty good if you ask me...Dice-K could do better though. If you want to say that Schilling sucked in game 2 then so did carmona....the bullpen is what decided game 2....Sabathia is a great pitcher ...but he is not better than Beckett...
If you actually read what I wrote I said Schilling is a -pretty good- pitcher...not great...but pretty good...If Schilling had a .4 era he would be considered awesome...use must have ment 4.0..not .4 ...a 3.5-4.0 era is still condidered good...it's not great...but good.and that Sabathia and Beckett are great. Carmona and Schilling both gave up the same amt of runs.

umm..they could if they wanted because Beckett is a sick pitcher and does incredibly well under pressure, as does the pitcher we have for Saturdays game. Schilling is amazing in big games, hes one of the best post season pitchers we have and is a HUGE reason we took the ALCS and the Series in 04. I bet if they win Saturday, Beckett will take the mound for game 7. I have nothing but confidence that when we bring it back to Fenway tomorrow, we will sweep..

Yes. The Red Sox can win with only one pitcher as long as he is Josh Beckett. Please God don't let Eric Gagne find his way to the pitcher's mound. May he lose his glasses and wander aimlessly in the outfield as the Red Sox finish off the Indians and head for the World Series.

Well, Mr. Delusional Indians fan, you will find out on Saturday when one of the best post-season pitcher takes the bump...if you think Schilling will have two bad playoff starts in a row you are crazy...Schilling is one of the best big-game pitchers and I bet you anything this series goes to game seven and the Sox end up taking the series since they will have momentum and home field advantage...there will be a game seven!

Beckett is the only pitcher the Indians haven't been able to beat. I'm with you - Indians in 6.

I am betting that if they make it to game 7, Beckett will pitch again.
