in a yard pool my best time is 29.66 for a 50 free. im in teh 15-18 age group. is this fast, slow, or average.

very quick , but 50 yards is a sprint, it would be easier to judge your speed if you gave us some of your 100 times

I'd say that is average. A lot of girls can swim the 50 in 26 or 27 sec. in highschool. But don't give up because you can still score points for the team with that time.

My best time was 22.6, but that was in 1976 when I was a Senior in High School. But anything under 30 seconds is respectable.

Well i am 13 years old and i can go a 28......so id say average

You're really close to my time. I have a 29.63 and I'm 13.
I think your doing pretty well. Just keep working hard, and it will really help. Good luck!

thats about average. my best is a 22.3 but ive been swimming for quite awhile. keep at it. at your age, if you stay with it i guarantee you'll see improvement. best of luck

i am in the 30.00 and i am ten eand am very good and i won my heat so i would wood say your good
