It's not wrong...I live my life by the cookie.

Wrong?

I don't know about that but (pardon) doesn't seem extremely intelligent.

Cookie fortunes are written by the same people who write the 'wisdom' on Salada tea bags -- people who are obviously bored and not terribly imaginative. Even discounting the possibility of divine inspiriation (which I don't), the Bible has helped millions lead successful, balanced lives for something like 4000 years (if you count the period when there was no New Testament). It provides the foundational principles for the most fair and humane governments and legal systems ever devised. Somehow, I don't think the pseudo-Confuscianism of the cookie stacks up.

No, not at all. Fortune cookies seem to speak the truth. The Bible and organised religion are a jumble of contradictory things at best.

I think The Holy Bible has much more wisdom and deepness than any fortune cookie.

Fortune cookies tell only about the stuff you want to hear. But it's all lip service. The Bible tells a different story altogether. It's your call. You are free to believe what you want to believe.

Sounds reasonable to me. Especially since a friend told me a few years back that you can almost always add the phrase "in bed" to the end of fortune cookie fortunes and they still make eminent sense. Like: "You will soon meet a long-forgotten high school friend -- in bed"; or "Next month is a good month for new adventures -- in bed".

Haha, you are entitled to whatever belief you want. If fortune cookies tell you how the world turns, and what happens when you die, then you can believe that all you want. Just remember that God loves you no matter what though.

I read horoscopes but I don't necessarily believe them. I think fortune cookies and horoscopes are just for entertainment.
