My horn quit working on my car. So I checked my fuses. And sure enough, one was blown. So I replaced it. Now when I press the horn I just get a click from the fuse box area. Or possibly underneath it if thats where my horn is located. Any suggestion. I need to get my car inspected, and don't want a ticket because of my STUPID HORN.

It sounds as if your horn has shorted out or has gone bad. The simple test is to run a jumper wire from the positive battery terminal to the horn. Pull the power wire off the horn and tap the jumper wire to the terminal where the power wire was attached! If the horn does not sound, it is bad. You can buy a new horn at any parts store and they are not expensive ($5-$10).

Good luck!

the circuit has a fuse, wires, horn button, more wires, relay, wires and a horn. The frame/body of the vehicle may also be used as the ground conductor. Check your horn mount first for rust or corrosion. If the relay clicks, it's either wire, connections or the horn itself.

Locate the horn and hot wire it to assure it is working.

The wires could be off - or touching each other - bare wires.
