I'll give him the Trinity award. He's got the voice, He's knows how to play my favorite instrument(always a plus in my book) and he's written a few good songs. Besides, He's a fellow christian. God is on his side. AMEN!

I am going with musician/singer because as familiar with him as I am, I honestly could not tell you what songs he wrote and the word "fiddle" and "Charlie Daniels" are synonymous in my mind.

Not at the top on any of the three but he plays pretty good fiddle so give him his dues, but Merle plays a smoother sounding fiddle.
