i agree they were a little too high on the rankings, so far up it would be a long painful crash back down

chance is there but it is slim now... if we win the Big East conference there is an automatic BCS bid with it.... many conferences have a playoff game and if things go the right way it could happen.... not likely at all.

I think they do. They lost 1 game to a team famous in the past two years for upsets by 3 points. I don't see them dropping below 9. They are still a one loss team. People don't think sometimes when they answer questions here. They see a team name in the question, think about the team's history, and jump to assumptions. If USF can win out and teams above them lose, there is still a chance. Maybe not a great chance, but still a chance. Some people are just too narrow minded to consider possibilities.

Narrow minded... hence a thumbs down from someone... probably the same person who would have said Appalachain State didn't have a chance against Michigan...

No. The Big Least is not a strong conference. They are a conference of above average teams, but no GREAT teams. If they run the table, and lets say an LSU or Oklahoma runs the table, both of those schools would be ahead of a 1 loss South Florida. The Big 12 and SEC are clearly tougher conferences.

Sorry, lady, but the Bulls are OUT of there! Even if they posted impressive victories here on out, the most they could make is a BCS Bowl. It's in the loss, the earlier you lose, the more you'll be able to climb up by the end of the year.

None. They still have a chance at a BCS game though. They will be ranked about #15 this week.

NO!! They should not have even been in the top 10. I guarantee a rutgers win yesterday..check my answers if you need to verify it, but they have not been in this situation before. They played well and beat some quality teams like Auburn and WVU, but #2 in the country was way too high for them....as for the rest of the way....BC will be the champs and their QB Matt Ryan will win the Heisman...how's that for bold!

no chance
they will take a one loss team from the SEC or big 10 or big 12 or pac 10 or ACC before a one loss team from the big east

Nope, especially as they have at least one more loss coming.

As for being in the "easiest" conference in football, I don't remember them joining the Big Televen.

haha.....not a realistic chance

I suppose if the rest of the top 50 teams lost 3 or 4 they'd have a chance

but don't hold your breath

Stop crying....they play in the weakest confer in football If anyteam from the big easy wants a shot they have to run the table
