I love my name! When I was younger, I wanted to change it. But, now that I am older, I think its really cool. Not many people have my name.

My name is Darryl
I don't really like it because it sounds feminine. I want to change my name either Darren, Kevin, Chris, Stephen or Edward.
If i was a girl, i would love my name to be either Katherine, Amanda, Mandy, Megan or Martha

As a child I couldn't appreciate its uniqueness--all through grade school and junior high, I was the only "Christine" in my classes, and even when I reached high school, my nearest duplicate was a "Christina."
It was only after I matured that I began to cherish it--and now there seems to be a whole spate of Christines in the younger generation, though not in my own family.
It was only after I realized that my mother had given me a reverse form of the first and middle names of her favorite aunt that I saw it in terms of family continuity--perhaps one of my sons or a niece or nephew might one day decide to name a daughter 'Christine' after me, and so link it back to a lovely woman who lived many years ago.

Yes I like my name it's uniqe and it's actually a family name, which I just found out when I met my dad for the first time.

I can spell my name two different ways but it comes out the same so when i was younger i played with the spelling until one day i like it how it is spelled now

I like the way it sounds, but there are too many people with the same name and that renders me quite generic!
