I'm sure they are numerous others, but ticks come to mind immediately.

Many other members of the Diptera (FLY) family bite to draw blood besides Mosquitoes. Diptera only have 2 wings.
It is the female flies who do the biting. The males drink nectar.
Flies that hang around the barnyard and dead, decomposing bodies-bite and draw blood.
Deer Fly, Horse Fly, Black Fly, Stable Fly.

There is actually a lot of pretty good advice here but I do have a trick you can try to break her of the problem. It works with fetters and puppies too. Pick up a bottle of "Bitter Apple" and sprits your hands before you play with her or handle her. If she bites you it will taste awful and she will not like it! It will not hurt her either. (I do not suggest swatting or hitting her) She will quickly learn that it tastes bad to bite people. It usually takes only 1-3 times, depending on how smart she is. I have used this method many times with very good results. Good luck!

Yes, many parasites do. Including fleas, ticks, mites, and lice Technically, fleas and ticks are arthropods and not insects, but then again, so are bedbugs.

Horseflies and greenheads. Biting flies are nasty. Unlike most "bugs that bite", they don't suck blood. They bite a chunk out of you. A big greenhead can draw blood through a t-shirt.
