Don't listen to smart azzes here....I can relate. While my man (He is 42, I am 33) can do quickies, yes, he has been known to go for several hours if he wants to......he is the only man I have been with that is like that.

I think some men are just like that....I have no answer for you- I just wanted to chime in as your support, because I experience the same thing with my man.

Has it always been like that? Is it quicker with oral stimulation? 40 isn't old and I'm surprised that at that age he is having difficulty. Is it physical or mental? Does he think he is pleasuring you? Maybe he thinks he has to go all night because you are only 23 and mentally won't let go. Maybe you should dedicate a night just for him - do whatever to him that he likes and let him know he should just enjoy himself and let go. If you take the pressure off of him to satisfy you maybe he won't hold back.

Otherwise - if it's not a mental issue maybe he should see a doctor. There are medical reasons why men can't ejaculate. I've never heard of someone staying hard for that long period of time without going soft at some point. Is he taking Viagra and you don't know it? Hmm....so many questions.

Going all night can be fun once in a while (with some naps in between) but come on, too much of a good thing is too much!

I have heard that Indian men have that ability, but I have never come across any white men with that staying power - and I don't know whether I would want to - 5 or 6 hours!!! It must be exhausting for you. When do you get time to go to work, sleep etc? I really don't think that this is normal in a man and feel that he should go see a doctor before he wears you out and you need reconstructive surgery,

maybe he just take longer. Everybody's different when it comes to certain things. Maybe there are other things that you can do to arouse him even more and get him off. What does he do or say when he finally orgasms because that may be his thing. What position are you in most of the time when he orgasms? These are minor details you should consider. Also when you get into it if you moan or coach him along or give him that look at the same time that should do it for him also. Some men like to feel dominant when they make love so let him feel that way.

There is no way I would be able to physically stand the type of marathon you described. I would suggest to hubby that you work together to find a solution. (He probably has a medical problem that needs to be addressed. A lot men often begin experiencing some type of ED at this age. ) You are feeling pain as the end result of your lovemaking. That is not good, unless you are into that kind of thing! You will wind up avoiding his advances if you two can't find a way to make both of you happy. Ask him what turns him on, what he needs. Communication, although sometimes embarrassing and difficult, is always the best way to solve bedroom issues with your spouse.

It's called retard ejaculation. Could be a physical cause, like nerve degeneration. Get him to the doctor, as the underlying causes could be serious.

P.S. My ex took less than two minutes. He could be in, out and showered before the commercial break was done on an hour long show. Part of the reason he's an ex.

Seems like an awful long time. Where do you find the time to make love? I think you should buy a vibrator to use on him to see if you can speed him up or you're going to miss all the good TV shows. never mind having time to feed yourself, go shopping, clean your house, read a book...

Good God, you sound just like my wife. Other than the stepkids part - it could fit our relationship perfectly.
But she doesnt complain about it actually............

How can i say this and stay clean.
When im on top it doesnt take as long. If my wife is on top of me i can lay there all night and it never goes down or soft and i never finish. She rather likes it on top needless to say.

Reject all the smart a** answers as this is a condition that needs to be taken care of by a physician. Please talk with him about it and have him seek help. Know it may be nice sometimes but every time; you and he must be exhausted.
