Paying officials, overrated...I think the bandwagon broke a wheel.

Hard to keep a bandwagon together, obviously, when so many people jump on it at once.

Someone send a note to Boston College and Kansas to make sure they have steel-reinforced bandwagons.

I havent seen near as much whining by USF fans after losing to a quality opponent as I saw from USC fans after losing to....what was that school again they lost to? The California School for the Blind? Hell, I cant remember they were so bad....but they did beat the "greatest team ever".

USF is a good team and has now earned some national respect. Be happy with that and look forward to next year now that everyone knows USF actually has a football team.

well the officiating wasn't great....but how is that different from any other College game? (and bad officiating had nothing to do with those 7 sacks.....poor guy must feel a bit like Jimbo Clausen right now....) They fought hard, and lost...like all but 5 teams so far this year...and Like LSU, Kentucky, and others, they can at least claim to have lost to a quality team.....and have played a real schedule.

None of the 5 "unbeatens" have a schedule that would scare a girlscout, and definately dont deserve their rankings. USF just showed they have a ways to go...but like Rutgers...they are making real good progress. Sorry for them, but thats why we play the game, instead of giving awards based on polls. If they are legit, they will simply keep fighting the rest of the season.

I think whining is generally reserved for USC and Dallas Cowboy fans lately anyhow.....the rest of us are mature enough to know that sometimes, you lose.

If it was being on the bandwagon to respect them, and say that up til this week they were more Deserving than OSU..the slayers of mighty Kent St....then I guess I'm a rider. I'm also on the LSU, Kentucky, Cal,Oregon, and all the other teams that would kick the crap out of OSU and their cupcake schedule bandwagon.

Wasn't really that interested in the first place, though I do tend to watch the reruns on a Sat morning cos there's bugger all else on the telly! Danny may have had a good voice but I just didn't like his attitude - to much of a diva! (as stated in an answer yesterday). Like most of the responders, I liked watching the auditions - anything for a laugh! BEX: I was going to put a question on here re Paula being out of her tree and never answering questions properly. Then I saw her reality programme (Hey Paula!). The poor woman is in so much pain from her dancing days (and taking a bad fall over one of her dogs) that she's got to have really painful injections every day - and I also think she's on very strong painkillers.

90% of these USF "FANS" didn't even know they had a football team three months ago. They saw a great underdog story and wanted to get on the bandwagon, and they do not know the game of football.

I stated on here yesterday to pick Rutgers and bet the house...I guaranteed a Rutgers victory, and I knew USF "FANS" would be crying...7 sacks, 6 in the second half, two fumbled punts recovered inside the Rutgers 25 yard line, stupid penalties....they flat out got beat in the second half of the game!!
QUIT YOUR WHINING AND MAKING EXCUSES!

They are no fluke... they got beat by a team that was jacked up and ready to play them.... USF is around for the long haul get used to it!

To a large degree Matthew is right.... MANY MAN USF alum's went to school there when there was no football team and they became fans of other schools.... then when the school started a football team it is hard to drop old allegiances and start rooting for your "old school" that never had a team while you were there until they became a "known" (and it helped that FSU and Miami blow this year)............So alot of former students suddenly started rooting for their school.....

Also USF is the #9 largest university in the US.... gonna have alot of fans .......DUH!!!!!!

Great post YT

It was to be expected after the way they have cried all week about not getting enough respect, they need to understand that respect is earned so they need to shut up and deal with it like most everyone else has had to do at some point this year.

I'm trying to decide who gets more emotional Steve Spurrier or Jim Leavitt. My LSU Tigers are on their way back to claim their title.

When they can't play with players that are ineligilble for other schools, they will fall into mediocrity.
