I have a college project due, and I need to know the difference between psychology and sociology. Anyone who can offer their help I would really appreciate it.

The REAL answer is that psychology studies individuals - clinical & biological psych looks at the human mind, I/O psych looks at how a human functions in the workplace, social psych looks at how a person influences society and how that society influences the individual person.

Sociology, however, analyzes how a whole group of people (a culture, a sect, or self-contained entity) functions in and influences the rest of society.

Sociology is the study of society and its customs.

i beleive that Psychology is the study of how the mind works and the sociaology is how other interact with others
