Darrell Strawberry played for the Mets in the 80s and was in and out of baseball through the 90s, when he wasnt in jail, rehab or court. He was a certain HOFer who threw it away for cocain and stupid trouble. I hated the Mets in the 80s but had to respect them, that is until Straw and Mookie Wilson threw firecrackers at a little kid.
Roberto Alomar is the son of Sandy Alomar, who was a utility player in the 60s and brother of Sandy Jr. Roberto spit on an umpire when he was with (if memory serves) Baltimore.
