I say Pirelli Diablo.
OR Continental road attacks.
Metzelers are good if it's not a sport bike (good for like Bandits or Fazers or anything that you don't chuck around corners so much)
My best ever tyres were tomahawk remoulds, but that was on a ZXR400, I wouldn't use a remould on anything with more than 70BHP.

Another vote for Avon. They are the tyres the long distance rider Gary Egan uses on his Iron Butt rides, and extremely sticky with long wear.

bridgestone do a 'battlax bt021' version of tyres that have dual compound harder center softer edges. having to use motorways i was recommended these i got about 10k from them! to quote them...

Avon storm-ST's they may be a bit pricey but they last quite a long time and have excellent performance wet or dry.

It depends on what kind of bike you have, and your ridding style also. I have good luck with metzler. I ride a Road King.I usually get 10,000 + miles on a set.

Metzeler Racetec Rain. I think any Metzeler tire is great but these should be best for rain.
