It seems lately when I point and click at something, my mouse points, and I click, I see the "button" on the screen depress, but nothing happens.

I'll click again and it works. Could the problem be my mouse or perhaps something within my computer? I'm not versed in puter language so please be kind lol.

Thanks and I hope you have a great day!

If it is a wireless mouse, check the battery.
If the mouse has a ball, then take out the ball and clean the contacts and the ball with 70 proof rubbing alcohol.
If the mouse is a laser mouse, check the cable and the connections.
Before buying a new mouse, run your adware and spyware programs, delete the temp files, and clean the cashe.
If all else fails, then its time to replace the mouse.

It sounds like it's time for a new mouse.
