brought in Josh Beckett's ex-girlfriend at the last minute to sing the national anthem before last night's game? Was that supposed to rattle him? That's sinking pretty low in my opinion, is Cleveland that desperate?

Right!!! I couldn't believe Cleveland did that and then pretended they didn't know the relationship between her and Josh Beckett!! By the way I have seen few better pitching than what Josh Beckett laid down on the Indians last night. Better than Roger Clemens in his prime easily. More like the devastating fear Bob Gibson instilled in hitters when he pitched for the Cardinals years ago.Josh pitched one of the greatest games in Red Sox history .

Who cares honestly? She sang a couple songs and Beckett didn't look like he really cared. Was it intentional by the Indians? Maybe...if it was that was a really lame attempt to rattle someone...its not like she came out wearing nothing but an Indians jersey and started making out with the entire Indians bench.

The only thing that was more tacky was Lofton dropping his bat like Beckett's pitch right down the middle was ball four. Beckett had every right to say what he said to him..
The only thing it did was piss Beckett off? Well, I hope they do something to piss Schilling off as well, since Beckett pitched a suburb game and displayed why if he doesn't win the Cy Young, the fix is in.

I don't think it was intentional, she's from that part of Ohio anyway. It's not like people are keeping tabs on Red Sox ex-girlfriends. If anything, it was a feather in Beckett's cap. It made him look like a stud for having dated such a hottie.
