When I was about 5, me and my sister both had really long hair - it came down almost to our knees when it was wet.
One day I cut all my sister's hair off playing "hairdressers".
My Mum was obviously furious, but given our ages, she managed to control herself and, although I got a hefty telling off, I didn't get smacked or anything. (She says the only way she managed this level of restraint was to put us in the bath for a few hours until she'd cooled off!)
ANYWAY... everything was fine for a few months until my Mum came upstairs to tidy our bedrooms... while hoovering, she found my sisters lovely golden tresses under the bed!
I had hidden them there because I thought if she couldn't find the hair, she wouldn't notice it had been cut.
She screamed the place down, so I guess it must have been pretty shocking.

I would be most shocked to find "my child's bedroom," since I don't have any children (that I know of).
A "clean spot," eh? Did you take a picture? This may not happen again for a long time.

I was installing a shelf in my 12 y/o daughters room a few weeks ago. She still has lots of stuffed animals and like to have them all staring at her while she sleeps. Creepy. Anyway, she brought up a basket of laundry and started folding it while I bashed my thumb with a hammer and swore profusely. While letting the throbbing subside I happened upon her chore. I picked up a hot looking, lacy, naughty pair of G string panties out of the basket and said "Wow! I can't wait to see you momma in these." That's when she says "Dad, those are mine!" and snatches them away in disgust. I still feel dirty.

My daughter is only 2 and she loves cell phones. I was cleaning her toy box the other day and found a cell phone of a friend of mine who thought she lost it at our cook-out. LOL.
