New DVD writer or Additional HD?

I have just enough saved to buy either one but not both
Which should i choose to buy first? The second item will be purchased after Xmas

I vote for new DVD writer.

Why? the answer is easy. It's because DVD writer can save unlimited data but HD can save limited data.

So, DVD writer !!! is the answer!!

Check out Ebay - I purchased an external DVD writer for 60.00. I'm sure you can find a similar product or an internal writer for the same or less. The one I bought was a sony 18x DVD +/- DL R/RW drive.
