Alien Abduction. Why is it always Americans?

...what is so special about Americans that make visitors from billions of light years way choose them as subjects for abduction ?

Oh, there are multiple reasons...
1. The British have bad teeth
2. The French are... french.
3. Someone from a lesser developed country probably doesn't have a phone so they can call home.
4. The Russians would claim it was their idea.
5. The Canadians are... canadian.
6. The Germans and Swiss would try to take the spacecraft apart to see what makes it tick.
7. The aliens don't like garlic, so no Italians.
8. The aliens don't like food that's been dried in the open air for months or pickled, so no Scandanavians.
9. The aliens are scared to take anyone from an Islamic country because they might crash the saucer into the mothership.
10. People from other countries HAVE been abducted, but they're better at keeping it to themselves so others won't think they're out of their minds.
11. Americans have too much time on their hands, are bored enough to actually read these tabloid accounts and gullible enough to believe them.

Have I offended enough different nationalities? Hope I managed it even-handedly.

BTW: 'billions' of light years? C'mon. Hard enough to believe they might be from THIS galaxy.

"Alien Abduction" is a cultural meme, not actual abduction by aliens, and so it will only occur in cultures that are infected with the meme. Similar phenomena occur in other cultures. Americans get abducted by aliens, but none of them ever suffer from Koro.

i think of Norrin may be precise. Holy ****, I had a dream some weeks in the past or what i presumed mustve been a dream the place i replaced into abducted via extraterrestrial beings and given an injection. This "dream" befell in my room. in spite of the indisputable fact that, some days later an odd bump regarded the place i replaced into injected in this "dream"! Then, the bump gave thank you to a small pinpoint mark like a needle had long previous in there! i think of this dream would possibly no longer have been a dream and that i for my area replaced into caught with this gadget!!!!!!! i do no longer know if it replaced right into a dream or no longer now!

Nothing at all. It's just when other cultures hallucinate or dream, they see other things. If they are from a very religious or superstitious culture, they might see demons or witches. It's very culture-specific. Funny how it always seems to involve sex though.
