paypal - how do i use it?

i wish to pay through paypal using my bank account. do i have to add my bank account to my paypal account? if yes, then how does payment work? Help!

every bank has a routing number and an account number for the customer.

I'm sure Paypal has a routing number, - just like a bank, it's Federally insured, upto 100k.

I link a credit card and a checking acct. to PayPal, get 5.2x% and transfer money a few times a year, -back and forth from my checking acct.

A lot of web pages use PayPal for secured transfer of information regarding your Paypal acct. login, etc.
