I have this vision of the World Seies being on TV and the announcers just ignore game action and talk about Joe freakin' Torre for the entire game. This BS has gotten very old. This is why people from the midwest hate New York and the east coast media (ESPN ).

Why because the Yankees are the most successful team in Pro Sports plus all that Torre accomplished in his 12 year term as the Yankee skipper also you can add in the mix that Torre walked away from the table George "The Boss"Steinbrenner did not get a chance to quote Donald Trump "Joe Your Fired"
This will be coverd from now until opening day of the 2008 season.....

Because the Yankees are the biggest sports franchise in the world, and Joe Torre is the most respected and beloved man in sports. It is safe to say that this is in ESPN's FRONT pocket.
This just happened less than a day ago and you are tired of it already?

Haven't you been paying attention? ESPN changed their name to the "Yankees, Duke and football" Network. They only show Yankees highlights in baseball, Duke in college basketball and every NFL and college football game.
Actually, you can throw the Red Sox in that mix too.
