Eat your heart out, and don't tell me to shut up, what type of a person are you to tell a total stranger to "shut up" You must be from England for we will never say those words to you.

According to my huble opinion, SA should jack up their scrums. Don't you think Brian Habana is just great? I can't help it, I am female and I tend to look at cetain parts (bum) when the guys play their game. Oeps sorry.

South Africa is not an insignificant Third World (developing)country. It along with Australia and New Zealand is considered a developed (i.e "First World") country.

As to the Rugby, I love to see England win and retain the trophy, however, I think South Africa have a better team, but England have come on in leaps and bounds since the tournament began and have beaten Australia and France and have done far better than anyone expected just to reach the final. My heart says England but my head says South Africa.

As I have been saying, I have been having a feeling about Australia all tournament long. They have looked very clinical, and they can also battle physically (just look at their defending against Wales when they were down to 13 men).

They have been getting the luck (such as the penalty against Scotland) and have also managed to win against flair (Wales and Scotland). So to sum up, they are a lucky team who can win physical encounters, and who can also win against attacking teams. I think they'll be able to counter anything that New Zealand can throw at them.

But another big thing is that they seem to have bolts to shoot. They have beaten host nation and one of the favourites (England) and have also beaten two of the dark horses (Wales and Argentina). I think New Sealand have already shot their bolt by thrashing France in the quarter final - a game with historical connotations (their 2007 capitulation) which they would have been very motivated to win.

South Africa should win the World Cup if we were to go by the stats, But..... Given the experiences of the England Team and given that this will be the last World Cup for a lot of their players................................................................................................ I'm going to have to go with............................... South Africa.
Simply because, it was only recently most of their players has just won a final in the Super 14 competition.
But!!!!!! Given the performance of the South African forwards, particularly the front row and given how strong the England's forwards have been preforming with J. Wilkinson on form, England will ..................................... make it a close game.

Best of luck for both teams and a big Congratulations to you both.

We haven't seen South Africa in serious trouble in any of their games yet. We have won all our games on the trot.
I really can't see England reversing a 36-0 defeat.
Although I would love to see a real nail-biting final, (the lead should change at least four times) I reckon we are going to see one way traffic.
The Boks are just too good!

SHOSHOLOZA!

failte19... the last three results mean nothing. Ask the French or the Aussies! You're only as good as your next game. England to learn from last game against SA and come out winners in the final!
