Yes. My friend was 10 years older than me and had seen a lot of life. We were friends five years ago and I was pretty immature. I think she got tired of me as she had already been through that stuff. Now I am going through the same situation with a younger friend. I wish I could contact her and show her how I have grown up. We would be great friends again, I think. She lives near me, but something (pride? fear of rejection? embarrassment for past behaviour?) is holding me back.

I have - but I make sure that things are resolved a s a p. If you let things fester then it's always harder to 'make up' and a molehill becomes a mountain. I recommend resolving things the day upset occurs, then everyone can sleep OK and friendships are restored.

Yes, but I always wish I had never botherd and just left it alone. It rarely works out...Ever heard the saying "you can't go back" In my life I have proved to myself that that saying is very acurate. Somethings are best left in the past where they belong.

Yes and sometimes its too late, you have said and done things that can't be undone best advise can be found in Dr Phil books look firstly to yourself and then decide what you want if you want to make peace with someone don't delay but make sure what you want first.

I didn't really fall out with her but I worked with a girl and we were so close but when I left we drifted apart I would love to see her again but people have told me she has changed and is really horrible now. xx
