I've been on birth control pills for 9 years...I'm 29 and married...my current pills contain small amounts

of iron in the placebo week when I have my period - I find that this iron pill gives me stomachaches all week long. Is it ok to simply not take it that week?

I never take the placebo pills either. They don't contain any active ingredient, they are only sugar pills and are meant to be a reminder pill.

of course you can skip it. I always do. just make sure you start the new pack on the right day.
