Hard question to answer, Overseas students can get accommodation on campus at most universities or you could try any number of other options. Food In Australia is both cheap and easy to obtain but all depends on individual tastes and customs. Travel to any college campus from most suburban areas of the capital cities is relatively cheap for students and easy to access via the public transport system in each state. Without more info.. What college or university, which state the question is too hard to give accurate info.

I agree with aussiesue17.

It really depends on where you will be living at the time, If on a uni campus, (meals may be included in a price) in a shared flat etc, pay your own way etc.. - then budget after your rent on what is left over to spend on travel, entertainment, uni fees and food

To get a student visa for Australia Immigration calculates it at 1000 AUD per month. However it can go up to even 2000 AUD or even more per month depends on your lifestyle and the place you choose to live.If I knew which countries passport you hold I could have given you a better answer.

Cheers !
