How can you save money but still buy the item you want?

Go to a thrift store or a second-hand store. My sis bought her daughter's prom dress on ebay... it was a gorgeous dress and only cost my sis about 25 bucks.

um buy non expensive shoes, or use shoes you already own. find a not the expensive killer dress, on ebay or in a thrift store, then you can have it altered and that way no one else has it!
