I would say they don't own the car but have it in someone else's name probably that let them use it as it were their own. If they do ,,it's illegal or just a fluke in our system that they can lie and get away with it

It is usually a family house where it is already paid off. I lived with my parents than they left me the house with no payments. Making 35k a year, and only paying water and fast food (I have a very healthy body who burn all of it) and saved 20k and dropped it for a used 2014CorvetteStingray. Very happy indeed even if I leave in a 90k house. Forget the interest rate of the credit union im at, I have no problems paying some extra cash for something I love.
I am single cause of this loan LOL worth it though.

I agree with most of the posters here...you have a lot of extra $ to spend when you're not spending it on rent and utilities, plus making some extra scratch by selling drugs or hooking or stealing. Some people shop lift clothing and other items and resell it on the street for extra bucks, too. Let's not forget those who double dip and pick up welfare/ssi benefits from two different states...that's a fairly large problem where I live, because we're semi close to the state line.

Because if you don't have to pay for your rent you have a lot more free income.
Over here in the Uk it is even worse, A few years ago I knew someone who actually volunteered to lose their job as they would be a lot better of living on benifits, they had designer clothes and jewlery and enjoyed a better standard of life than i did.
Makes you proud when you are waking up at 5am!! to get to work!
Oh well, I suppose the UK needs more single mothers so I need to pay my taxes

Wow someone that agrees with me.....I live in a really crappy neighborhood, where houses dont cost more than 25,000 and most of the people that live around here are either on welfare, or ssi...And what makes me sick is most of the ones on ssi have nothing wrong with them...And they are driving around in brand new vehicles, but i bust my *** on a daily basis and all i can afford is a hunk a junk that costs less than 600. Our government is screwed up.....Just like theres all these foreign people that come to America and get money form our government to open up their own business.....All i have to say is WTF

I agree. My girlfriend used to work for an apartment complex, and every person who had section 8 housing also had nice cars and jewelry etc... however some how they couldn't come up with the 10% (or whatever it is) to pay for the discounted housing.
These people are just content on living off the government. Makes me sick.

Drugs and prostitution. Also many single mothers have a live in boyfriend who either has a job or deals drugs. They will never get married because she would lose her free rent.

Josh D has one little problem with his answer - they aren't living off of the government, they are living off of US hardworking taxpayers!
