Yes even I love YA. I also wonder that how I did not know about YA. It is my good luck that I visited YA just by chance.
Do u know why so many hearts love you? It is because u write answers & questions from u'r heart and u do not try to pretend or hide your REAL self. You show and speak what u are and we all can feel this from u'r questions/ answers/ comments that u have been blessed by a wonderful personality, heart, soul, mind & nature with the grace of GOD.
I wish u the very best from the bottom of my heart and will always look forward to u'r questions. I believe that many people including myself are learning lot of things from u & will remember you and u'r questions always with much fondness.
I try to answer in plain English because you made me realize that why many people never can understand my thoughts.
This is a fantastic learning curve for me in my life. I thank you for this genuine help & care...Friend.
A star.
STAY LUCKY - NOBLE SOUL.

Yes Gentleman I expected to find some thoughtful questions from this site. But I must admit the response has been overwhelming.I mean I don't hear a lot of stupid trivia but questions that have relevance to us as human beings and social ,political and psychological issues that I never expected to the degree that I have.Like from you I get questions pertaing to the Absolute Theory of Motion put forth by Newton and how he was contradicted by Einstein's Relativity Theory, both the General and specific.I have received questions that would better have been answered by Emily Post or Ann Landers.I mean I have received questions that have touched on every facet of the human condition.I have been in Academia and on the streets.I have gotten questions that were simple and questions that required thought far beyond my training.Yes it has thus far been a very rewarding experience.I consider myself fortunate to have found this Q&A site.I like to think I have acquired along the way... See again I am keyboarding so fast that I am omitting crucial words up above there is a place in which I should have used have rather than has and ending . what I mean is I like to think that I have acquired some friends along the way...

I, too, was surprised! After becoming somewhat of a cynic for a while, I logged on here one fine day and was astounded REALLY that most of the people of the world think pretty much the same, have pretty much the same values and morality and are kind and thoughtful to others. It gave me a renewed hope in mankind. I now believe that there's hope for our planet after all, as long as we continue to care about one another :-)

This is definitely something I wish to respond to "Gent"! Y/A has meant something good to me also. I enjoy so many of the responses people send in, they seem to far outnumber the unfortunately unacceptable responses. I feel so disappointed when people say cruel, negative or crude things, especially to someone who asks a question from real need, or with genuine inexperience.
I saw my youngest daughter get married last year in July. She married young and my "nest" emptied sooner than I wanted it to. This year has felt so lonely and empty. I hit what I call "midlife revision" with a bang! I don't believe in midlife crisis. But suddenly I needed to re-explore my life and find a new direction/focus. I have several things in mind, finishing my degree(English) and learning to write fiction, as well as doing some volunteer work.
But, I have gained 20 pounds this year and felt somewhat depressed. I understand why I've done this to myself and I hope to return to better living. But I have felt so sad about the end of my role as a full-time Mom. I discovered the answers site early in September and Y/A has felt like a breath of fresh air to my heart. I answer serious questions to the best of my ability , hoping to encourage the asker. I enjoy the lighthearted questions; they encourage me to get my sense of humor out of mothballs. I have said things in this forum that I wouldn't have been comfortable saying to someone in person - especially since I don't know any of you. I have reached out to a few "desperate" questioners from the deepest part of my heart, hoping to bless someone in need. It has felt so good to share "life lessons" that came to me at a steep price in hopes someone out here won't have to pay as much as I did in order to learn.
Like you, I want decent, clean and good-hearted conversation. It does feel wonderful. So thank you for your questions, enjoy giving others those answers you have acquired in your time living/learning/loving on planet earth!

hi genTLe m@n...
You are again right as usual.
Y/A has played a very big role in many of our lives to make us good and decent people.
And i would even like to give the credit to all those questioners like you who have the habit of sharing knowledge and posting questions which is worth reading and which helps people a lot in increasing their IQ power.
You are a person who post really sensible questions. People have the habit to post vulgar, nude stuff.
But i really liked that you dont waste your time posting nude stuff, rather you utilize that time by spreading and passing on knowledge.
You are really a GENTLE MAN. And i am really proud to call you as my big b.....tc....sweet dreamz....bye....

I agree, when I first started I didn't do it to make friends but some of the users have become just that! I'm glad to know more people think like me, but I'm even happier to see what else people bring into the mix.I enjoy getting different views than my own......Thanks Y!A!!!!

Y/A isn't what brings out the goodness in us. It gives us good people a place to chat with other good people. In public its all about protecting ourselves from those who would hurt/slander our opinion and selves. So we don't show it as much in public as on here. Thank you good people for the chats, shared info and listening to my opinions.
