Well I'm 20 miles from Manchester and that's one big pit. And I'm 90 miles away from Blaenau Ffestiniog in Wales, and that is a crater and a half! ;-)
Seriously though, there is a meteor with a nice plaque outside my local library. Not sure how big a dent it made, but they must have filled that in a couple of hundred years ago.

iv no idea but we have a crater at the end of our road the council keep filling it in but it reappears ...lol
