In addition to the draft, I think everyone should be required to either bartend or wait tables. It gives you a real education on people that hopefully becomes a life lesson. I tended bar for about 5 years in my youth.... and I'll tell ya, there's some jerks out there that I would just about wish Alzheimer's on.

No, I would never do that. I was a waitress for 10 months for my first job. It's not easy, believe me. I always sympathize with them.

Nop!we shouldn't look down on them,just bcoz they're just waiter's/waitresess...The truth is,Without them,we can never take care and serve ourselves the way they do served us.So,they need some respects too....

No, I do not. I even tip them very well if I gewt good serivce. BUT even with bad serice I still give them at least ten percent. Good service get 20 - 25% and I have tipped higher for really good service.

No I'm one of those people who give them perhaps to much leeway and tip to largely.......I used to waitress in a bar I remember how it was.

i waitressed for 20 years....and came across a bunch of those....the poor people who work hard for nothing tip huge, the rich who have not worked a hard day in their life do not tip. old people tip 50 cents teenagers not all..in my experience its always the rich that think you are below them them and serving them like a maid..and its always the underclass who respect how hard it is.
