I have a heart with angel wings coming out of it with a halo on top. I am going back to put my dads name in it. He died last year. What is your tattoo of and what does it mean? Thanks in advance for sharing!!:)(:

I want about 3 more too. One on my lower back, one around my ankle and one on my left arm or breast!!:)

omg!!!, I have the same one, its on the back of my neck and it has my moms initial in it.. i got it about 2 yrs ago after she died. Sorry about your loss to.

I have 6....
~ Eyes on the back of my neck (A Sicilian thing, which I am)
~ Wave tribal on right ankle
~ Symbol for my dad on left foot
~ Two chameleons running in circle on left shoulder
~ Two love birds with tails forming heart on right side torso
~ The number 54 on right wrist (palm side up). That's my latest one......I got it after meeting Tedy Bruschi (NE Pats Linebacker) at a book signing

Yes 2 a fetus with wing on my lower left belly/pelvic area ~ in memory of my lost child.........and a "tramp stamp" lower back tattoo of two butterflies that are made to look like one, an optical illusion ~ no meaning....I was drunk at Sturgis, but I still love it!

I have four and plan on getting more.
On my upper left arm I have a small teddy bear (for my oldest son); on my upper right arm I have a baby panther; on my right breast I have a feather from a dreamcatcher and on my back left shoulder I have an asian symbol that means "unborn" child for one of the babies I miscarried.

I have my left leg done with hearts , flowers and ribbons with my loved ones names , and a cross on my back with a purple rose .

I'm getting 'love and family' on my left leg, just above my ankle, possibly in Sanskrit or Thai.

My mum emigrated to Australia two months ago, and I miss her beyond comparison.

My grandma died four years ago, and she was my best friend. Honestly, amazing.

I'm doing it for them. =]

for me this tattoo represents the masks we all wear everyday and for every situation, i think in some way we all try and be what we think others want us to be, this tattoo reminds me of that and helps me to remember who i really am.
my second, and largest of the two, is of the 'mani mantra'

the meaning and lore surrounding this particular 'mantra' is what inspired me to have it tattooed. i have this on the inside of my right lower leg from ankle to knee, it was painful but cathartic. namaste.
