Survey on public transport! when sitting facing a complete stranger how do you keep from staring at them?

I usually just read my ticket over and over.

I don't avoid staring at them. I love making strangers feel uncomfortable. Although i do have a great game i play on the bus, you have to try it. Whenever a person gets on the bus i decide whether i think they are married, divorced or single and then i make up a little story in my head of how i imagine their life is. I've got loads of friends doing it now. It certainly passes the time and stops me from scaring the person sat opposite with my evil eye staring!

A) I even have farted on public transport. - 3 B) I even have pretended to be a nutter on public transport to stay away from having others sit down with me. - 2 ehehe :S C) I even have pretended to be distant places or deaf to stay away from a verbal replace with a stranger on public transport. - 3 D) I even have pretended to have fallen asleep on public transport with the intention to stay away from procuring a cost tag. - 3 E) I even have poked the guy sat in front of me on public transport, then pretended to be asleep. - 3 F) I even have drawn a pretend beard and glasses on the face of a stranger who has fallen asleep next to me on public transport. -3 G) I even have blocked the lavatory on public transport via shoving a solid form of toilet paper down it. -3 H) I even have had intercourse on public transport. -3 ew I) i'm now making plans between the above events next time i'm on public transport. - 3 noo way J) i'm disgusted via this questionnaire, yet have have been given this a techniques reading it, tutting and being often outraged...-one million lol ok) i'm now going to report this question because of the fact i think my self-righteousness has been challenged via the previous question. i'm slightly unhappy and ought to loosen up slightly. quite a number of Yahoo solutions factors relatively matter variety to me. - 2

Haha, I either look out the window, stare at my iPod or stare straight at them and freak them out :S
Chances are most of the time when I feel like they are watching me, they aren't and I'm just being paranoid...lol

By reading my paper or book. I usually only stare at the dopy birds putting on their make up......Please, get ready at home, nobody wants to see all that filler being slapped on.

haha you must get real bored- reading that ticket over and over...hahah. well i usually look at people's shoes. and then when im finished the floor takes my full attention. i hate it when people stare at you. slightly annoying.

I get lost in my own thoughts, usually looking out the window, or even stare at them without knowing it, lost in my reverie!

What's wrong with saying good morning or good afternoon , evening ? why look the other way ? You meet some nice people that way , and if they aren't then all you did was try .

i usually dart my eyes around the train/bus or out the window!! or sometimes i play with my fone . .read old msgs or something!! however if it was a good looking guy (as it happened to me b4) i look at him until he looks at me then i look away . . kinda flirting!! (halfway through the trian journey he started to talk to me and i ended of giving him my number!! lol)
