I go barefoot outside every day of the year. I love going barefoot, so even if it is below freezing I make sure that I find the time and place to at least spend a few minutes outside barefoot.
I go barefoot for many reasons, but one of them is as a part of maintaining optimum health and fitness.
Your musculo-skeletal system functions best when you are barefoot.
Your mind is sharper as well when your feet are grounded to the earth.
Your immune system requires bare feet in contact with the elements in order to remain strong.
The special sensual feeling of your soles on the ground leads to all around better mental health.

unless I am going somwhere, or there is something harmful on the ground (and even then i sometimes go barefoot) I am barefoot all the time.

All the time, I haven't worn shoes for over ten years and I don't intend to wear footwear ever again. It's not dangerous or gross; feet get very tough very quickly and are fully washable.

never m,y landlord has ducks, chickens, dogs, and cats therefor the yard looks like a minefield most of the time
