True love is blind, but in reality it isn't blind exactly just forgiving. The amount of love you have for another person is directly proportional to the level of forgiveness a person is willing to give. This level of forgiveness isn't constant though, after a short time of the "blind" forgiveness things will turn sour causing massive problems in the relationship.
The reason for the change in relationship is due to a relaxed sence. when a relationship is starting out neither participant knows how to react to things together. once the relationship starts, it sets, and however it sets in the beginning indicates how the participants will act later. If you are overly polite or forgiving in the beginning, your partner will assume you to be like that forever, and if you are in need of a lot of forgiveness in the beginning your partner will suspect you will not change either. However you act in the beginning sets the behavior expected through the relationship.
The change in behavior after the first while in a relationship is not avoidable because you will always be focused on the positive side of your character in the beginning because you are mentally on the defense and once your comfortable and relax your natural balance will restore. you can however minimize the change by telling your partner what bothers you instead of just forgiving, and by realizing your partner is expressing there good traits as often as possible and not expecting them.

If you love someone, you don't see the faults that others see because in your eyes, they are perfect.
