I have found that song a little creepy for 25 years. Tells a good story, though, for back in that day and it was "cutting edge" back then. The Eagles were hot back then. Does this date me? ;)

A little bit, yes, but at the same time, I find it a very good song.
It is such an awesome song because it can be interpreted in so many different ways. I hear it's one of the most popular bar songs, along with Piano Man.
