Those people who said White Album are clearly Beatles fans, but I don't think they looked at it from the point of view of somebody who isn't yet officially a fan. Some people are turned off by songs like "Revolution 9". If I was just starting out, I would listen to Abbey Road. It's still full of great Beatles tunes, is a little poppy, and won't turn you off. Sgt. Peppers, Revolver, and Rubber Soul are where I would go after that.

Any Beatles album won't disappoint. Sometimes for a new listener, a "best of " album like The Beatles One, or the Blue or Red albums would be good. But, as you listen to The Beatles, you will find their best stuff isn't the songs they play on the radio, but the gems which are on every album.

Maybe a best of , like one,or the past masters...
If you like the early songs like "love me do" "can't buy me love" etc,you could start with the album "help" which is very entertaining and optimistic.
Or you could start with the white album, which is a bit more mature and a bit darker. There is very beautiful songs on this album and they are all very different from each other,so it will give you an idea of how "diverse" their style can be.
I would suggest that you listen to Abbey Road once you know the Beatles a little bit better an can appreciate their talent;otherwise you might not like it,because it's very unusual, especially the medley part.
Remember, though, that listening to one single album won't give you an idea of what the others sound like;each one is unique, they are all totally different from each other. The only common point is:they're all good =)
Good luck!

The Beatles: John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and George Harrison. John on lead guitar, Paul on bass, Ringo on drums, and George on guitar and sitar. all of them sang. some songs that are the main common: "I wanna carry your hand," "Revolution," "Lucy interior the Sky With Diamonds," "enable or no longer it relatively is," "Yellow Submarine," "back interior the U.S.," and my very very own sought after: "around the Universe." The Beatles disbanded in 1969, and all of the Fab 4 stronger solo careers. John grew to become into murdered by making use of a lunatic with a gun in 1980. George died of failing wellbeing in 2001. Paul and Ringo proceed with their solo careers as we talk: Paul is in a band, and Ringo has worked in movie. Their vinyl LP's have been digitally remastered into cd's, and that they are so common that they are in all probability obtainable on itunes to boot. i wish it relatively is no longer too plenty tips, yet relatively while you're to be a Beatlemaniac, you have have been given to be attentive to the backstories. it relatively is purely part of being a fan. do no longer take my word for it, study the books and hear the song for your self. extraordinarily pay attention to the song, by way of fact the books are not by making use of The Beatles.
