hi i have under active thyroid for 2 years and i hate it, im on medication but i get depressed from it still and always tired and gaining 2 much waight my problem is i always forget to take my medication and i become unwell, all my family says put them somewhere where u remember but i dont like to leave them round becouse i have two younge kids, i really want it removed but doctors wont let me, could i get it remove if i went private? if so do you know the best place to go?

You would have more problems if you had your thyroid removed. We need our thyroid gland. Just take your pills. Like Charli says, leave a note where you will see it, like the bathroom mirror.

I have the same problem with taking medication. My partner to-be printed out all these posters, which say in big capital letters, "TAKE YOUR PILLS!!"
They are hung up on my fridge, kettle, microwave, bathroom mirror, even on the washing machine. When I take my pills, I gather the posters up and stack them in the kitchen. Then that night my partner will put them out again.

r u working or house wife?if u r working put ur tablets in the hand dag which u use daily (or )in ur office(shelf).
if u r house wife keep all ur tablets in on small box & put that in ur kitchen near ur food preparing items.i think its the good place because u will daily go to kitchen for preparing some food for ur family.

when there is relief with medication continue that, no surgery is indicated.
