I'm not familiar with the Mercury set you mention.
The problem with Hank's material is that it has been re-issued, remastered, electronically "enhanced" for stereo, repackaged, and generally treated disrespectfully. Elvis is the only artist whose catalog has been bastardized more.
I would suggest checking one of the fairly complete discographies on-line. Your Mercury box likely has good liner notes with a sessionography. Compare it and your other albums to see what you are missing. If you can differentiate between the re-issues designed purely to make a buck, and those with a scholarly stance, you can find most everything recorded without to much duplication.
Be sure to get the Luke the Drifter material-its great (Bob Dylan said he considers it early rap, which he meant in the best possible way)

Steve it looks like you have got a pretty good collection going there. I kept hoping that after the lawsuit that was settled by Hank Jr. & Jett with the folks that had all the Health and Happiness recordings that we would see something new come of it. I am patiently waiting. There is also a four cd set titled "Hillbilly Hero" and a three cd set titled "The Original Singles" that I have but most of them on these sets are really nothing new. I also have the one titled "Hank Williams Alone With His Guitar" and I really like it. You can try ebay as they always have a lot of Hank Williams to chose from.

The Ernest Tubb Record Store in Nashville, as a previous poster stated, is a good place to check. They have so much really, neat stuff in there. And, it's a good place to look for things from other artists, too. (Sorry, I know you're specifically asking about Hank Sr., but, ET's store is just awesome, and, the time I went to it, the guy working was great about helping, and sharing info).

Contact the Ernest Tubb Record Store in Nashville. It's probably online. I'm sure they'd have a complete list. If they don't have what you want, they will get it for you. Lord, I LOVE that place!
