I'm leaving my husband of 6.5 yrs and well he asked if we could "make love" one more time before I go. Isn't that just a bit too much or is it just me?

I told him no that he was out of his mind and manipulation among other things is why I'm leaving.

Ick. He is trying to regain control of the situation that he has no longer any control over, what so ever. I'm thinking this man might be somewhat of a manipulator. Tell him no, emphatically. Good luck with your new start and lease on life!

is this a bad break up- if so tell him that you understand that since he is such a jerk, you dont mind giving him some pity sex since you know it will be a long time before a jerk like him gets laid again!
That should make him 'lay off that stupid line of questioning'.
I hope that when he asked you that, you felt more certain than ever that you made the right choice!

It is a bit too much!! It is not you! I had a guy I was dating once but then was no longer, wanted to make out and such 'for old times sake' I suppose. Men are crazy. Let him go!

It's too much. If you're leaving him, then leave him.. don't complicate the situation more by sleeping with him.

The only reason he would want to sleep with you is to either
a) try to win you back
b) try to manipulate you
c) to hurt you by making you feel cheap.

Bottom line is.. making love.. is an expression of love.. if you're leaving him, then there's no love.. so why would you even consider his proposal to sleep together??????????????

Sounds like "John Tucker Must Die" with the one girl having really great break up sex and then finding out she was the only sucker of the victims. Sounds like one for the road to me. But of course you don't have to say yes, it is your body.

Tell him to just go right ahead. Alone. You have other things to do right now and that you are planning on "doing it" again in the future.

if you have already decided to leave him and he has agreed to letting you go, then what good would a last physical thing do? he might just be luring you to a trap and that he has no intention at all to let you leave...

What a cheek... is he taking the piss??
You should tell him to go find it somewhere else, your relation is obviously finished and sex does not come in to it.
TELL HIM NO
