I watched this China Team vs Orlando last night..... how come Yao Ming didn't play for China team???

He's already playing for the Rockets preseason games. He only plays for China during tournaments and the summer. It's already close to the start of the nba season, so he's back playing with the Rockets.

Yao did not join the Chinese squad because he is playing with the Rockets this preseason. In fact they had a game against Dallas last night.
