You all have Gordon Brown. We have Bush and the female version of Gordon Brown in Hillary Clinton. The French has, seemingly, a good leader but questionable. He and his wife both cheated but got back together in 2005. What makes him think he can be faithful to a nation? Being married to millions of citizens is far harder than just one spouse.
Even though I am not French, this is still embarrassing because it causes me to ask, what is the world coming to? Better yet, Where are the Churchhills and Kennedys? Bush is determined to take on the whole world and ignore the wishes of his citizens. He is demonic and void of a conscience. Brown is wishy washy and will sell England to the highest bidder.
Look on the bright side, at least you all do not have Bush and Hillary. We have 14 months, 1 week, and five days to go before he is gone. Then Hitlery or Killary comes to power. She knows that she is a shoe in. It is too painful for most Americans to embrace.

Anyone wishing to become a leader is egoistic and many leader types are sociopath's. Aristotle's ancient Greek city system is the closest device to a politically ethical solution, its ethos is based on movement. There should never be one, one leader, one who has the power. Power should be used through the people. The Internet is the perfect solution to all political dilemmas. It would allow the silent majority to be heard. We are ruled by vote hunting politicians, people that pander to those who can keep them in power. It would be a new world where those silent millions had a voice. A hundred thousand marching against some obscure subject and a hundred million saying ignore them. now that's a political system worth creating. Tony in remotest Indo-China.

Good leaders are almost impossible to find. it is a case of come the hour come the man. For UK the hour is getting very near with Brown about to sell us out to the EC. Maybe it is the end. it will be if the man/woman doew not appear again soon

I'm Welsh not English but I would give anything for a Churchill a Kennedy or an Aneurin Bevan to lead us these days. All we have today are a bunch of spineless wankers who care nothing for the people they are supposed to be leading and only for themselves and their own personal gain.

Why only Englishmen? It's the whole of Great Britain that is governed by Brown's administration.
.....and he's a Scot!

I'm sure the Englishmen will not agree with you, they have a good leader.
Even though they had to get one of us Scots to lead them, we have actually only let the English borrow him, we will want him back when we get our freedom.

no mature democracy lacks leadership talent. there are always good leaders available.

She hasn't won yet. Remeber, Howard Dean supposedly had it in the bag in 2004, yet he didn't even win the primary. And we won't have to worry about Bush for to much longer.
