but be aware that a person who speaks in this manner has some
'issues'
the first order of effective communication is to 'know your audience' so if a person is speaking in such a manner, they are not nearly as smart as they might think because they are not adequetly conveying information to their listeners.
If this person just happens to be your boss,
I would restate the 'garbage' that she states in simplistic terms and ask her if this is what she means. If you just assume that you know what she is talking about, you will ultimately be held responsible.

of course people can get lost in their ability to be prolix ..
