I know masturbation's nothing to be ashamed of, and that it's a healthy practice, etc. But whenever I first meet girls I'm attracted to (in the "getting to know each other" stage), I normally feel guilty about "choking the chicken", if you will, to them. Is it stupid to feel guilty about this, or would a girl do the same?

Well, don't. Obviously if you are interested in someone you will be interested in having sex with them. It would hardly be flattering to fantasize about a movie star or a former lover instead! Besides-they don't know you're doing it, but it would turn a lot of women on if they did.

Your both in the same boat....and I would bet money that she is doing the same thing...she does have a new face to visualize and all. I wouldn't fell guilty about it at all.
Unless you have a problem where if you do...and something should arise and you needed to be at attention and you couldn't because you had fun with yourself earilier...then I would say it's a pretty good time to start beating yourself up over it. LOL Other than that...she's most likely doing the same thing and you have nothing to feel guilty about.

If you feel guilty, you feel guilty. There's nothing you can do about it. So it doesn't matter if you think you should or shouldn't feel guilty. The fact is that you feel guilty. So why do you feel guilty? Maybe if you figure that out and realize that it's based on a stupid reason, then it'll go away.

Umm I think if your girl is into it then it can be hot. I know some of my girl friends have gotten upset when they have just walked in on their bf doing it to porn. I think actually if they like it you can incorporate it into your foreplay. I personally don't masterbate, but I know a lot of girls who do masturbate & will for their man. To show them how they like to be touched or where or just to turn him on if he's into it. If you are just doing it to the thought of them w/out their knowledge or them there that is pretty pervarific but after having 2 guy roomates & a ton of guy friends, I know all too well that it's a reality so I guess feel guilty if you're going to but you'll probablly do it anyway. Even girls that do masturbate don't usually do it to the thought of another guy. We just aren't as visual as that. Even Brad Pitt. Women are horn dogs too but just not so much in the visual or masturbation side of things. You'll notice women might look but it's not near on the level men do & you won't hear all the comments CONSTANTLY about it. I can't speak for all women cuz there are freaky people everywhere but most girls just aren't that way.

regardless of what others say, it's normal, whatever takes your fancy at the time and helps with the fantasy! Not stupid at all and yes, some girls would do the same thing if it helped with their fantasy. I know i did when i first met my husband...i found him incredibly sexy!!!

I think it is better to take care of your needs yourself than to scare them away by trying to get into their pants. As long as you don't treat them any different afterwards (like "baby I was thinking of you last night and...") I think you will be just fine. Girls connect differently in the beginning I think, more like "I wonder what his last name sounds like with my first name...". Don't feel bad, just make sure you treat her with respect no matter how far you or you two go on a sexual level.
