why do alot of people save and save their money until they are retired, and when that time comes they are too old to do anything that they could have done when they were younger. i dont understand. live life to the fullest and have fun now!!!

What are you talking about? I am now retired and am quite young, because I saved. I had fun then, but I do and go more now with no worries of how I'm going to live in 40 or 50 years from now.

my parents feel that way they save and save and then i found out that they wrote their will not to long ago and they are leaving everything to my son sure he is only 10 yrs old but they **** money and want to make sure that he is taken care of when they are gone, nothing wrong with that i think that in the day thats how ppl did it ut now ppl don't care about their future or their kids, sorry to say that but i'm glad my parents are the way they are

YEAH,,,,and ain't it a kick in the head when they DIE just the first week of their retirement? AND the money has depreciated in its value over the years so much,,,that now it will only buy HALF AS MUCH of anything that you want,,as it would have back when you first got it.

so what i'm hearing is, if i understand correctly......u don't care if ur broke when ur 55 and ready to retire and u honestly don't mind being dependent on others to take care of ur financial hell hole and ur failing health.......wow what a winner....


not caring is easy now.....but carma's a b*tch and u'll regret ur selfishness when u coulda saved up a little cash u know

It's not about "doing stuff," but rather for practical purposes. You still have to buy groceries, pay property taxes, pay for your own health insurance, vehicle repairs, insurance, etc.
