What would happen if you wished for one candle to stay lit on your birthday cake? If you blew all of them out to make your wish come true, your wish woudnt come true. If one stayed lit, your wish isnt supposed to come true but it did come true. I need to stop now. I'm confusing myself.

It's called the 'Grandfather Effect in Time Travel'. You are trying to do something that can not be done. There might be a way if you blew and all the candles went out for three seconds but one would come back. Would that answer your wish?

i am not sure you should blow out candles after making a wish. wishing is like magic, and blowing out candles takes all the magic away, snuff them out, then you can pick one candle to stay lit.

THat is all hog-wash. If you want something to happen you have to make it happen.
I did not know people really believed in the making a wish and blow out the candle bit.
Just go out there and get whatever it is you want.

How old are you and candle that important? when blow them out do wish first? or after? close your eye's? if so how do you some one is playin joke on you?
a Wish is never share with anyone it's usaully a time or thing?
